why organic? conventional cotton farming makes up less than 3% of the agricultural farmlands in the world, yet it accounts for 25% of the insecticide and pesticide. in the U.S. alone, it's estimated that 800 million pounds of pesticides will be used on cotton this year. with organic farming, crops are rotated to protect the soil, and farmers use compost and naturally derived mineral and plant products for fertilizer. when this sustainable process is utilized, it can be carried out over and over again without harmful environmental effects. it offers us the ability to provide for the world’s current population without damaging the ability of future generations to provide for themselves. we hope to inspire a healthy way of life by supporting the eco-system. we are making small strides to help the earth by dressing the smallest of people.
